Does Acupuncture Work? Just Ask This Chicken

One of the most common questions I get asked is: Does acupuncture really work? Or is it just placebo?

Sometimes, a picture, or in this case, a video, is worth a thousand words.

This is one of my favorite acupuncture videos from the Chi institute (a veterinary institute that trains veterinarians to perform acupuncture for animals), where the veterinarian inserts a needle into the GV 20 (governing vessel) point in this chicken.

GV 20 is a point on the head that is known for its calming effects in both people and animals.
